...just a quick reminder to everyone on the MiscKit list:
Long ago when the list was begun we decided that there would
be no NeXTMail on the list. The only case where it could
even be justified would be attachments. But not everyone
wants attachments or large binary files in their mailboxes.
If you have a file you want everyone to look at, send it to
me and I will place it on ftp.et.byu.edu where everyone can
get at it--if they want it. (I'm always happy to forward
files to those who don't have ftp, too, of course.) You can
also upload the file yourself into pub/next/submissions on
ftp.et.byu.edu and call attention to it here, with an ASCII
note. And remember, _all_ MiscKit submissions or changes should
go directly to the maintainer of the object (in the case of
the MiscMatrix changes that just went out, that would be me).
Changes and submissions should never be sent on the list.
(That's different from "code snippets for discussion", of course.)
So, for the future, remember, no NeXTMail, please.
If NeXTMail turns up too many times more, I'll have to turn the list into a moderated list so that it gets weeded out, and I really don't want to do that.
